The Adelaide greyhounds offer Australian racing fans some of the best action they will see anywhere in the country. The greyhound racing clubs in the region work tirelessly to constantly improve the standard of events while still retaining some of the community atmosphere in the race venues.
There are two main race courses in the Adelaide region which give punters two very different type of experiences.
Angle Park
As the number one metropolitan race course is the state Angle Park certainly has a lot of expectation for their events. It’s an expectation they more than satisfy through a constantly good level of performance.
Racing is hosted three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays giving the public plenty of exposure.
It has been running since 1947 making it the oldest in Adelaide. The track has a 457m cirfumference a 51m turn radius and stretches 6.5 side to side. The on-site restaurant is extremely impressive and there are also full bar facilities.
Angle Park is also home of the prestigious $50,000 Adelaide Cup.
Many punters have also found themselves in the money by betting on Adelaide greyhound racing. You can guarantee yourself up to $400 by betting at lLuxbet now where they will match your initial deposit dollar for dollar!

Gawler
The Gawler greyhounds may be different to Angle Park in terms of location but the quality of racing is very similar. The Gawler Greyhound Racing Club works just as hard in staging the best events possible and attracting a new demographic into greyhound racing.
Events are run on Tuesdays every week in a track with one of the most pristine backdrops around. Gawler is just an hour north of Adelaide at the start of the iconic Barossa Valley highway, famous for being some of the best countryside anywhere in the world.
This has made the Gawler greyhounds popular with tourists and locals alike and his lifted the national reputation of the track.
It’s actually slightly larger than its metropolitan neighbour at 494m around, 6.5 wide and 55 turn radius.
Betting on the Gawler greyhounds used to be a punters secret but thanks to Luxbet it is no longer! Bet at Gawler with guaranteed best odds and the best deposit bonus of any bookie in Australia!
